PAIA manual
MidSquare Capital (Pty) Ltd maintains a manual in terms of section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The manual describes the records the firm holds, the procedure for requesting access to them, and the fees that apply. A copy of the manual may be downloaded from this page, and the manual is also available for inspection at the firm's offices free of charge, by prior arrangement.
How to request a record. Requests for access to records must be made on the prescribed Form C, available from the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development, and addressed to the firm's Legal and Compliance Department at info@midsquare.io or at 108 Vredeveld Way, Sonkring, Brackenfell, 7560. The request must identify the requester, describe the record sought and the form of access required, and state the right the requester seeks to exercise or protect and why the record is required for that purpose.
Fees. A requester seeking access to a record containing personal information about that requester pays no request fee. Other requesters pay the prescribed request fee, and where a request is granted, an access fee for search, reproduction and preparation as prescribed. The manual sets out the fee structure in full.
